Short. New York, February 1939. A nightclub's second singer loses her best friend in one night and goes after the men behind it. A first-person game that looks like a lost 1930s cartoon.
Long. New York, one rainy weekend in February 1939. Betty is the second singer at the Velvet: scared all the time, and sorry for everything, even to doors. Her best friend Ruby, the club's star, says no to a powerful man, and that same night she's killed behind her own locked door. That night Betty can only run and hide in the dark, with a hatpin. Before dawn she has a knife and a revolver; two days later, a shotgun. A first-person stealth and action game that looks like a lost 1930s cartoon, with every line spoken.
